Which should I use einfache or schlicht?  by tubthumper   8. Dec 2009   German

Can anyone explain what the difference is between these two words.

According to the word list, they both mean "simple" but einfache is listed as "Very Basic" whereas "schlicht" is listed as advanced so I am assuming there is a difference in usage?

Ich vermisse Dich  by JuliusLeung   30. Dec 2009   German

Can anyone help me translate to English?

sag was du fühlst

How about a Next button?  by ChunLiz   24. Nov 2009   Chinese

Hi, when practising words, it would be very efficient to have a "next" button so you can click easily from word to word, instead of going back to the list to click on "details" for each word. I am new to the site so maybe I've missed something similar? Just a suggestion otherwise.

Could we have topic lists in the sentences section also please?  by dannyd249  Superman Site Supporter   7. Nov 2009   Thai

Hi, Firstly I'd like to say again what a great site this is! I intend on upgrading my subscription to a premium account very soon! Sound would be a great advantage when trying to learn these words and something that is worth paying for yearly if trying to learn the Thai language.

I wanted to know, would it be possible to have a topic list under the 'sentences' section just the same as we already have in the 'words' section. This would be useful as I'm finding it a bit tedious to have to constantly look at the word topic list, then click the word to find practice sentences. It would help if we had a sentence topic list as well!

Thanks guys and girls keep up the great work!

what changed? Can't hear thai words now  by malc   31. Oct 2009   Thai

I can't listen to the thai words now. I'm not using this site a lot. I mostly wanted to hear thai words pronounced. I think I have to pay for that now which is a shame. The romanisation is really poor and unintuitive. I know you'd like people who are getting a lot from this site to give something back ie money, which is fair but it seems the free membership doesn't give you audio ability so I'm not sure I'll use it at all. I'd rather you allowed people to learn the basics and then have them pay for using more advanced vocab etc. From my point of view (if my above assumption is right regarding listening to thai) you may have shot yourself in the foot and will now have less visitors using your site.

Word Lists  by daleq   21. Oct 2009   Portuguese

Would someone please explain what the difference is between "My word list", "Active Words", and "Words in the Loop"?

Also when I work with the 'loop' flashcards the 'shown' category always says "Shown: 0 (Total: 477)". What does it mean Shown = 0?

Finally, what is an "Active word"? How is that different from a word that is in the loop? When I go through the "loop" exercise, the number of active words seems to increase even though I am "blocking" many of the words that pop up in the exercise.

I have read the Help section, but it is not clear on any of this.
Thanks for any advice.
DK
