Thanks for this site, which I found via Toytown. I've been living in Germany for about 18 months now so I know all the words that have come up so far. I agree with your other poster that it would be a huge help if you could put the definite article on the screen (I understand that you wouldn't want to re-record all the vocab). In German, even if you know all the grammar rules it doesn't help you one jot if you don't also know the gender of the word. I'm in the process of labelling all inanimate objects in my flat because I have to start again in this respect. |
