In this sentecnce, I can;t understand the plutôt ?
Unless it means means shall we take the metro earlier ?
Devrions-nous plutôt prendre le métro ou le taxi ?
Should we take the underground or a taxi?

It can mean:
Are we better off taking the subway or a taxi?
or
Would we rather take the subway or a taxi?
