Graphics Pad entry for Chinese characters by kanji 27. Jan 2010
I really like the handwriting input on this site, its great for looking words up and spotting similar characters.
Does anyone know what graphics tablets work well and if there are any word processors or dictionaries that support graphics tablet chinese character input.
I intend to buy a tablet as the mouse is hard to control well enough for character input.
ps it would be nice if the handwriting input characters where integrated with the rest of the site.

hmmm it depends on your budget, but i would recommend you to purchase wacom. when you buy wacom you can never go wrong it is like purchasing a BMW (when it comes to cars) it is quite pricy.
there are other brands that exist in the market as well like genius. genius is a good brand but i am not sure about the tablet since he is still new in the market compared to wacom.
if you are just gonna use the tablet for writing, try to check out Wacom Bamboo Fun. i am not sure the current name model. but i have been using wacom for a long time and i am satisfied on what the tablet can do. before i own Wacom Graphire 4, now i am using Wacom Bamboo fun (a low end tablet of wacom) |

Or you can get a plug and play "i-pen" on Ebay for less than $20. I have the wacom bamboo and 3 i-pens. For the money, i-pen is the best buy. I like both but if you are looking for a lot for a little I would suggest i-pen. |

Here is a simple way, works great, and only costs $2
Install Mobile Mouse Pro on your iPhone (from the app store) and on the computer.
It lets you use the iPhone (or android) Chinese input touchpad to enter Chinese on your laptop or home computer.
太方便 !
