Thanks by jerware 14. Jan 2009
I just wanted to say "thanks" to the people who've taken the time to set up and maintain this website. I've been taking Chinese classes in Taiwan for about 3 months, and I've used your site to help organize and drill my new vocabulary. Much easier than making hundreds of flashcards by hand (been there, done that! NOT fun.) |

Barbiejay, I went to National Taiwan Normal University from 2004-2005. The classes are not anywhere near as challenging as they were at Beijing Normal University. BNU caters to Japanese and Korean students so it moves at a very fast pace. Whereas NTNU caters to Western students who tend to move at slower pace.
Excellent website. Too bad it didn't exist when I was first learning Chinese. Excellent resource for beginner/intermediate level Chinese learners. |

What's the website to that? |

Yes this is an exceedingly great website. I have been practicing for only an hour or more, and I have memorized lots of new things to me. Absolutely wonderful! |

thanks clyn123 :) i'm still looking at the universities, hopefully i'll get one i'll love. i'm kind of a psycho when it comes to learning chinese; basically the more challenging the better! |

I want to say thanks too; it's hard to find a site where I can learn chinese using traditional characters. |

I tried Cheng Da Uni in Mucha, Tamkang Uni, near Chin Shan s. Rd and also Wen Hua (Chinese Culture University) - campus on Hoping E. Rd. All between 1993 and 1997. My favourite was Wen Hua. |

The reason I liked is was the classes were really flexible, not quite as challenging as Cheng Da in Mucha and it was really conveient as near Technology Building (Ke Ji Da Lo) MRT station. |

As you can see, my Chinese may have improved but my spelling certainly hasn't. More haste, less speed, as they say! |

Am new to 'Hanyu', and i think its a blessing to discover this site. I've learnt a lot of new words and phrases, but usually when you dont practice, you tend to forget what you have learnt. If you re on Skype, please add me - didius1011 - so we can practice together. See you dere!!! |
