Hi guys!
I'm wondering about the colours. Why do they have like five ways of saying the colour red? I mean, at the site the only explanation is "red colour". But I wonder if the words are used depending on what the subject is or something? or is it different tones of red?

I think its to do with Hanja, eg 홍 (hanja word for red) 차 (tea)
I think u use hanja words with chinese words. 오 (sino korean for 5)백(chinese/hanja for 100) 원 i think its the same consept :) |
