안녕하세요  by queenicedsc410   17. Mar 2010

안녕하세요 저의 이름은 데자입니다. 죄송합니다.
Lol I've been sooo busy lately, but I'm not coming to this website daily to increase my Korean vocabulary. If you guys have any help you can ask me. lol Also if you watch Koreandramas on Viikii.net, you may see my name there. Lol for the past couple of months, Ive been helping to sub Korean dramas and teaching 10 friends (on skype) Korean grammar, and vocabulary. If you ever need help with Korean you can just join our class! lol I don't teach it alone, of course, because I'm not Korean. A couple of Korean friends help me. lol

Thanks~

Hi Deja! how are u?
can u help me please?
I don't know when must use (를, 는), I know when it must be (을, 은.. after (ㅂ,ㅈ,ㄷ,ㄱ,ㅅ,ㅁ,ㄴ,ㅇ,ㄹ,ㅎ,ㅋ,ㅌ,ㅊ,ㅍ) use 을 or 은 .. after (ㅛ,ㅕ,ㅑ,ㅐ,ㅔ,ㅗ,ㅓ,ㅏ,ㅣ,ㅠ,ㅜ,ㅡ) use 는 or 를 ) .. but sometimes I don't know wich one i have to use (를or 는) so, always i make a wrong sentences!! I mean, in noun or verb sentences?

Mona...I hope this may be of some help...

there are three basic forms that confused me at first but after much practice I am better at these...

~이/가 사과가 있습니까? Do you have an apple?
귤이 있습니까? Do you have a mandarine?

~을/를 사과를 먹고 있습니다. I am eating an apple.
귤을 먹고 있습니다. I am eating a mandarine.

~은/는 this is used to contrast things.
i.e. I am eating an apple. 사과를 먹고 있습니다.
(Whereas) She is eating a mandarine. 귤은 먹고 있습니다.

or, 어떤 음식이 좋아하십니까? What kind of food do you like?
사과가 좋아합니다. I like apples.
모나는 (note: 는 subject has changed from me to Mona, i.e. contrasting) 어떤 은식이 좋아하십나까?
귤은 (Mona differs from me, I liked apples but Mona likes mandarines) 좋아합니다.

So, ~이/가 is a subject marker.
~을/를 is an object marker.
~은/는 is a contrastive marker.

I hope this has helped a little.

Sorry, just realised I made a couple of typos... I shouldn't have answered a question that was directed at Deja...Sorry Mona...

어떤 음식이 좋아하십니까? What kind of food do you like?
사과가 좋아합니다. I like apples.

The above should read like this...

어떤 음식을 좋아하십니까? What kind of food do you like?
사과를 좋아합니다. I like apples.

Once again, apologies if you had read this already...

Hi gallandr!
No, it's Ok sis.. ^_^
thank you so much gallandr.. that helped me a little. actually... I asked my Korean friend to explain it, but she can't cuz she lived at Qatar for long time, so she speak Arabic and English, but can't speak Korean well!

Ok.. what's the different between ( 사과는 좋아합니다 & 사과를 좋아합니다)?
sorry... I know that, i'm a loser at grammar!... ㅡ_ㅡ!

thanx agian! =)
have a nice weekend!
^_^
