Hello! It depends on how you want to use it!
It can be used on its own, meaning "to become"/"to get" (Es wurde dunkel draussen- It got dark outside)
It can be used as a helping verb to indicate future tense (Wir werden uns es überlegen- We will consider it)
It can be used to indicate passive voice (Es wird gemacht- It is done)
