Dein/Deine/Mein/Meine/Ihr/Ihre by naskar 22. Mar 2010
Could some explain the difference between the above?
Sometimes I am not sure which of them to use |

You should try to take a look at a grammar book or website, such as Canoo.net. Maybe this particular page helps you with that problem: http://www.canoo.net/services/OnlineGrammar/InflectionRules/FRegeln-P/Pron-Poss1.html?MenuId=Word423
It all depends on the genre and possessor, and of course the case. |

dein, mein and ihr are use to refer to masculine and neuter nouns..like dein geld (das geld) - which means your money... meine, deine and ihre..use for feminine, like meine Brille ( die Brille) - means my eyeglass. you put e on this possessive pronoun when it's feminine..this is for nominative case..for accusative you add "n" for masculine.... my best advice is to download lessons and interactive learning materials from Deutsche Welle website...really a great help! |
