More snow
Det var ett katastrofalt år för bönderna.
It was a disastrous year for the farmers.
Snön föll och föll tills regeringen blev tvungen att hjälpa till.
The snow fell and fell until the government had to step in and help.
"Det måste ha varit förfärligt", sa regeringstjänstemannen till en bonde. "All den där snön."
"It must have been terrible," said the government official to a farmer. "All that snow."
"Kunde ha varit värre. Min granne fick mer snö än jag", svarade bonden lugnt.
"Could have been worse. My neighbor had more snow than I!" answered the farmer calmly.
"Hur kom det sig?" frågade regeringstjänstemannen.
"How come?" asked the government official.
"Mer mark", svarade bonden.
"More land," replied the farmer.
