The old lady


En el parque, un niño pequeño le pide a su padre un dólar para una señora mayor.

A little boy asks his father for a dollar for an old lady in the park.
El padre está impresionado por la bondad de su hijo y le da un dólar.

His father is impressed by his son's kindness and gives him a dollar.
"Ahí tienes, hijo mío", dice el padre.

"There you are my son," says the father.
"Dime, ¿la señora mayor ya no puede trabajar?"

"Tell me, isn't the old lady able to work any more?"
"Vende caramelos", le responde su hijo.

"She sells candy," replies his son.
