The expensive psychiatrist
Um homem foi ao psiquiatra e disse: "Tenho um problema. Todas as vezes que deito na cama, acho que tem alguém embaixo dela. Estou ficando louco!
A man went to a psychiatrist and said: "I've got a problem. Every time I get into bed I think there is somebody under it. I'm going crazy!"
"Eu posso te ajudar", disse o psiquiatra. "Venha me ver duas vezes por semana."
"I can help you," said the psychiatrist. "Come to me two times a week."
"Quanto você cobra?"
"How much do you charge?"
"Cem dólares por sessão."
"A hundred dollars per session."
"Está bem, vou pensar sobre isso."
"Okay let me think about it."
O homem nunca voltou. Alguns meses depois ele encontrou o médico na rua.
The man never went back. A few months later he met the doctor on the street.
"Por que você nunca mais veio me ver?", perguntou o psiquiatra.
"Why did you never come to see me again?" asked the psychiatrist
"Por cem dólares a sessão? O meu amigo me curou de graça!"
"For one hundred dollars a session? My friend cured me for free!"
"Como?"
"How?"
"Ele me disse para cortar os pés da cama!"
"He told me to cut the legs off the bed!"
