Carl: Oi Helen. Como vão as coisas?
Carl: Hi Helen. How are things?
Helen: Não vão bem. Ainda estou morando na casa da Elaine e o gato dela tem pulgas.
Helen: Not good. I'm still living in Elaine's house and her cat has fleas.
Carl: Eca, que nojo.
Carl: Yuck, so disgusting.
Helen: É, meus pés estão cheios de mordidas de pulga.
Helen: Yes, I have flea bites all over my feet.
Carl: É por isso que eu não tenho animais de estimação. Eles só dão trabalho.
Carl: That's why I don't have pets. They are just trouble.
Helen: Exatamente. Enfim, eu quero me mudar logo. Não aguento mais o gato. Você tem algum amigo que tenha um quarto para alugar?
Helen: Exactly. Anyway I want to move out soon. I can't stand the cat anymore. Do any of your friends have a room for rent?
Carl: Vou perguntar para a Becky. Ela conhece muita gente.
Carl: I'll ask Becky. She knows a lot of people.
Helen: Obrigada.
Helen: Thanks.
Carl: De nada.
Carl: You are welcome.
