Paula: Oi John, seja bem-vindo! Sente-se, coloquei alguns aperitivos na mesa, sirva-se.
Paula: Hi John, welcome! Have a seat, I have put some appetizers on the table, help yourself.
John: Muito obrigado, estou morrendo de fome, acabei de sair de academia.
John: Thank you very much, I'm starving, I've just left the gym.
Paula: Sim, achei que você estaria com fome. Então, como estão as coisas?
Paula: Yes, I thought you might be hungry. So how are things?
John: Tudo bem, sem muitas novidades. Nossa, que aperitivos deliciosos! O que são?
John: All good, not much is new. Wow, these appetizers are delicious! What are they?
Paula: Bom, este aqui é um patê de abacate, este é um queijo suíço, esta salada é de rúcula, parmesão e manjericão, os pães são caseiros e este patê aqui é de caranguejo.
Paula: Well, this is avocado pate, this is Swiss cheese, this is a rocket, Parmesan and basil salad, the breads are homemade and this is crab pate.
John: De caranguejo?!
John: Crab?!
Paula: Sim, receita da minha avó, delicioso né?
Paula: Yes, my grandmother's recipe, delicious, isn't it?
John: Meu Deus Paula, eu comi o patê de caranguejo!
John: My God Paula, I ate the crab pate!
Paula: Eu sei.
Paula: I know.
John: Este é o nosso terceiro encontro, quantas vezes você me viu comer carne?
John: This is like our third date, how many times have you seen me order meat?
Paula: Acho que nenhuma vez John, mas por que você está me perguntando isso?
Paula: I guess not once John, what is this about?
John: Sou vegetariano! Que nojo, me desculpe, mas tenho que ir.
John: I am a vegetarian! This is disgusting, sorry, I have to go.
