Garçonete: Bom dia!
Waitress: Good day!
Jack: Uma mesa para dois, por favor.
Jack: A table for 2 please.
Jack e Susan seguem a garçonete e sentam-se à sua mesa.
Jack and Susan follow the waitress and then sit down at their table.
Jack: Acho que eu quero Pad Thai, e o que você vai pedir?
Jack: I think I'll take Pad Thai, and what will you order?
Susan: Eu vou pedir o curry verde.
Susan: I'll take Green curry.
Jack: Você sempre pede a mesma coisa!
Jack: You always order the same!
Susan: É a única coisa que eu gosto!
Susan: It's the only thing I like!
Jack: Por favor, podemos fazer o pedido?
Jack: Excuse me, could we order please?
Garçonete: Um momento, por favor!
Waitress: One moment, please!
A garçonete se aproxima da mesa.
The waitress approaches the table.
Garçonete: Sim, pois não?
Waitress: Yes please?
Jack: Eu quero Pad Thai e minha esposa quer um curry verde. O Pad Thai é apimentado?
Jack: I'll have Pad Thai and my wife Green curry. Is the Pad Thai spicy?
Garçonete: Não, não é. Você gostaria de uma porção de arroz para acompanhar o curry?
Waitress: No, not at all. Would you like rice with the curry?
Susan: Sim, por favor!
Susan: Yes, please!
Garçonete: Está bem, mais alguma coisa?
Waitress: Okay. Anything else?
Susan: Sim, por favor, traga uma jarra de água do filtro.
Susan: Yes, please bring a jug of water from the filter.
Garçonete: Sim, claro!
Waitress: Yes of course!
