Jack: Oi Melanie e Hugh! Voltaram da Tailândia?
Jack: Hi Melanie and Hugh! Back from Thailand?
Melanie: Tailândia? Ah não, nós fomos para Taiwan desta vez.
Melanie: Thailand? Oh no, we've been to Taiwan this time.
Jack: Entendo. Como foi?
Jack: I see. How was it?
Hugh: Foi legal. Nós fomos a alguns templos e mercados noturnos.
Hugh: It was nice. We went to a couple of temples and night markets.
Jack: Parece bom.
Jack: Sounds nice.
Melanie: Sim, mas o que eu não gostei em Taiwan foi o tráfego maluco e os cachorros de rua.
Melanie: Yes, but what I didn't like about Taiwan was the insane traffic and the stray dogs on the street.
Jack: Sério? Vi um cachorro de rua uma vez na Espanha. Ele me seguiu por um bom tempo.
Jack: Really? I saw a stray dog in Spain once. He was following me around for a while.
Melanie: Eles parecem ser um grande problema em alguns países!
Melanie: They seem to be a real problem in some countries!
Hugh: Eu li que o prefeito de alguma cidade da Romênia alimentava os leões no zoológico com cachorros de rua.
Hugh: I read once that a mayor of some Eastern European town fed the stray dogs to the lions in the zoo!
Jack: Ah meu Deus! Isso é muita brutalidade!
Jack: Oh my god! That's really brutal!
