A man receives a call from his Credit Card Company.

"Senhor, detectamos um padrão incomum de gastos no seu cartão, e estamos telefonando para saber se está tudo bem".

"Sir, we have detected an unusual pattern of spending on your card, and we are calling to see if everything is all right."

"Sim", respondeu o homem. "O meu cartão foi roubado há mais de um mês".

"Yes," replied the man. "My card was stolen over a month ago."

"Por que o Senhor não nos informou do roubo do seu cartão?" perguntou o representante da empresa de cartões de crédito.

"Why didn't you report your card as stolen?" asked the card company representative.

O homem respondeu: "Bem, a pessoa que roubou o meu cartão está gastando muito menos do que a minha esposa!"

The man replied, "Well, whoever stole my card is spending a lot less than my wife!"
