A picnic
"Aqui está bom. Vamos sentar aqui perto desta árvore".
"This is a nice place. Let's sit here next to this tree."
"Boa ideia. Assim podemos comer na sombra".
"Good idea. That way we can eat in the shade."
"Sim. O sol está muito forte hoje, e esqueci de passar protetor solar".
"Yes. The sun is very strong today, and I forgot to put on some sun lotion."
"Eu também. Onde você colocou a salada de batatas?"
"So did I. Where did you put the potato salad?"
"Está naquela sacola de plástico marrom. Você poderia me passar os pratos, por favor?"
"It is in that brown plastic bag. Could you pass me the plates, please?"
"Aqui estão. Bom, os sanduíches parecem muito bons. O que você colocou neles?"
"Here you go. Mmm, those sandwiches look really good. What did you put in them?"
"Eu fiz dois com presunto e queijo, dois com caranguejo e maionese, e dois com frango e pepino. Você acha que é suficiente para nós dois?"
"I made two with ham and cheese, two with crab and mayonnaise, and two with chicken and cucumber. Do you think it will be enough for both of us?"
"Acho que sim. Eu nunca como muito no almoço. Você prefere uma garrafa d'água ou uma lata de coca-cola?"
"I think so, yes. I never eat much food at lunch. Would you prefer a bottle of water, or a can of Coca-Cola?"
"Vou tomar água, por favor. Vamos comer, temos que voltar para casa às três horas." "Por quê?"
"I will have some water, please. Let's eat, we have to go back home at three o'clock." "Why?"
"Porque os meus pais vêm nos visitar. Eu te falei hoje de manhã." "Ah, sim, me lembro. Que pena."
"Because my parents are coming to visit us. I told you this morning." "Oh yes, I remember now. What a shame."
