Peter: Hello Nina! How are you?

Nina: 안녕 Peter! 나 잘 지내, 고마워! 너는 어떻게 지내? 요새 너 안 보이던데. 잘 지냈어?

Nina: Hello Peter! I'm okay, thank you! What about you? Haven't seen you lately. Is everything all right?

Peter: 응, 지금은 괜찮아, 그런데 나 저번 달에 수술해서 몇 주 동안 집에만 있어야 됐어.

Peter: Well, it is all right now, but I had surgery last month and had to stay home for a couple of weeks after that.

Nina: 어, 무슨 일로?

Nina: Oh, what happened?

Peter: 맹장염이 있었어.

Peter: I had appendicitis.

Nina: 통증이 있었어?

Nina: Were you in pain?

---

Peter: 응, 내 생애 그렇게 심한 통증은 처음이었어.

Peter: Yes, I've never had such intense pain in my life.

Nina: 맹장염은 더 어린 사람들이 걸리는 거라고 생각했는데.

Nina: I thought appendicitis happens to younger people.

---

Peter: 맞아. 내 나이에는 많이 안 걸려.

Peter: You are right, it does not happen often at my age.
