No need to thank!
三歳の子どもが父親に言いました。「叔母さんがアイスクリームをくれたよ。」
A three year old kid says to his father: "My auntie gave me some ice cream"
父親は言いました。「ありがとうって言った？」
The father says: "Did you say thank you?"
子どもは赤くなって答えました。「あ、忘れちゃった。」
The kid blushes and says: "Oh, I forgot."
「じゃあ今すぐありがとうって言っておいで!」
"Then immediately go and say thank you!"
五分後、その子どもは戻ってきました。
Five minutes later the kid comes back.
「ありがとうって言った？」
"Did you say thank you?"
「うん。でも必要なかったよ!」
"I did. But it wasn't necessary!"
「どうして？」
"Why is that?"
「叔母さん、そんなの必要ないよ!って言ったんだ。」
"She said: No need to thank!"
