The wrong telephone number
Laura e Carolina escono dalla discoteca.
Laura and Carolyn leave the club.
Laura: È stato divertente! Mi è piaciuta la musica degli anni Ottanta!
Laura: That was fun! I love the music from the eighties!
Carolina: Anche a me è piaciuta quella musica. Chi era quel ragazzo con cui hai parlato?
Carolyn: I liked the music too. Who was that guy you talked to?
Laura: Ah, nessuno. Mi ha chiesto il numero di telefono, "perché ha perso il suo".
Laura: Ah nobody. He asked me for my telephone number, "because he lost his".
Carolina: Che tipica frase da rimorchio! Per cui ti sei comportata come al solito?
Carolyn: What a typical pickup line! So you did the usual?
Laura: Sì, gli ho dato il numero di telefono della mia matrigna e gli ho detto che il mio nome è Barbara.
Laura: Yes, I gave him my stepmothers' telephone number and told him my name is Barbara.
Carolina: Haha, sei così cattiva!
Carolyn: Haha, you are so mean!
Laura: Lo era anche Barbara con me! Ma non preoccuparti, si è abituata ai ragazzi che la chiamano!
Laura: So was Barbara to me! But don't worry, she got used to guys calling her!
Carolina: Immagino di sì. Magari si diverte anche a parlarci!
Carolyn: I suppose so. Maybe she even enjoys talking to them!
Laura: Sì, forse.
Jane: Yeah maybe.
