Walter: Hi Samantha!
Samantha: Ciao, Walter! Non crederai a quello che e' successo mentre eravamo in vacanza. Qualcuno ha fatto irruzione nel nostro appartamento!
Samantha: Hi Walter! You won't believe what happened while we've been away on holiday. Someone broke into our flat!
Walter: Oh, no! Come hanno fatto?
Walter: Oh no! How did they manage that?
Samantha: Sono entrati dalla porta sul terrazzo. Mia zia, che bagnava le piante mentre eravamo via, lo ha scoperto e ha chiamato la polizia. Hanno rubato i nostri gioielli.
Samantha: They came through the terrace door. My auntie who watered my plants while we were away found out and called the police. They stole our jewelry.
Walter: Oh mio Dio! Spero che siate assicurati!
Walter: Oh my god! I hope you are insured!
Samantha: Sì! Adesso devo fare un elenco degli articoli rubati.
Samantha: Yes! Now I need to make a list of the stolen goods.
Walter: Qualche settimana fa hanno fatto irruzione nell'appartamento del mio vicino. Non hanno trovato niente di valore, per cui hanno semplicemente bevuto la loro birra e mangiato la loro torta. E hanno rubato qualche uova, il sale e il pepe.
Walter: A few weeks ago they broke into my neighbor's flat. They didn't find anything of value so they just drank their beer and ate their cake. And then stole some eggs, salt and pepper.
Samantha: Ah, ah! È patetico. Chi è questa gente?
Samantha: Haha, that's pathetic. Who are these people?
Walter: Non ho idea! Sono dei disperati o semplicemente dei pazzi.
Walter: No idea! Either they are desperate or just plain crazy.
