Scary cakes
Alcuni amici raccontano di cosa hanno paura.
A few friends are talking about what they are scared of.
Uno dice di temere i serpenti, un altro i ragni e così via.
One says snakes, another one says spiders, and so on.
Infine Jack dice di aver paura delle torte.
Finally Jack says he's scared of cakes.
Il giorno dopo i suoi amici decidono di fargli uno scherzo.
The next day his friends decide to play a practical joke on him.
Comprano tante torte e lo chiudono dentro una stanza con tutte le torte.
They buy lots of cakes and lock him in a room with them.
Dopo un po' aprono la porta e vedono che in realtà ha mangiato tutte le torte.
After a while, they open the door and see that he has actually eaten all the cakes.
Un amico grida: "Bugiardo! Pensavamo che avessi paura delle torte! Dicci la verità! Di cosa hai paura?"
One friend shouts: "You liar! I thought you were afraid of cakes! Tell us the truth! What are you afraid of?"
Ci pensa per un po' e dice: "A essere sincero, ho paura di una tazza di tè!"
He thinks for a while and says: "To be honest I'm scared of a cup of tea!"
