Jack and Susan go to a Thai restaurant.
Bedienung: Guten Tag!
Waitress: Good day!
Jack: Einen Tisch für zwei, bitte.
Jack: A table for 2 please.
Jack und Susan folgen der Bedienung und setzen sich dann an ihren Tisch.
Jack and Susan follow the waitress and then sit down at their table.
Jack: Ich glaube ich werde Pad Thai nehmen und was bestellst du?
Jack: I think I'll take Pad Thai, and what will you order?
Susan: Ich werde Grünes Thai-Curry nehmen.
Susan: I'll take Green curry.
Jack: Du ißt immer das Gleiche hier!
Jack: You always order the same!
Susan: Mir schmeckt nichts anderes!
Susan: It's the only thing I like!
Jack: Entschuldigung, könnten wir bitte bestellen?
Jack: Excuse me, could we order please?
Bedienung: Einen Moment bitte!
Waitress: One moment, please!
Die Bedienung nähert sich dem Tisch.
The waitress approaches the table.
Bedienung: Ja bitte?
Waitress: Yes please?
Jack: Ich nehme Pad Thai und meine Frau Grünes Thai-Curry. Ist das Pad Thai scharf?
Jack: I'll have Pad Thai and my wife Green curry. Is the Pad Thai spicy?
Bedienung: Nein, gar nicht. Möchten Sie Reis mit dem Curry?
Waitress: No, not at all. Would you like rice with the curry?
Susan: Ja, bitte!
Susan: Yes, please!
Bedienung: Okay. Sonst noch was?
Waitress: Okay. Anything else?
Susan: Ja, bitte bringen Sie uns eine Kanne Leitungswasser.
Susan: Yes, please bring us a jug of tap water.
Bedienung: Gerne!
Waitress: Yes of course!
