The second baby
Susan : Je viens de parler à ma cousine. Elle est de nouveau enceinte !
Susan: I just talked to my cousin. She is pregnant again!
Jack : Vraiment ? Elle a eu un bébé l'année dernière, non ?
Jack: Really? She had a baby last year, no?
Susan : Oui, mais cette fois ce n'est pas par insémination artificielle.
Susan: Yes, but this time it's not by artificial insemination.
Jack : Oh, c'est un miracle.
Jack: Oh, it's a miracle.
Susan : Oui, elle a été très surprise. Son médecin chinois a pu lui dire qu'elle était enceinte rien qu'en prenant son pouls.
Susan: Yes, she was very surprised. Her Chinese doctor could tell she was pregnant by feeling her pulse.
Jack : C'est possible ?
Jack: That's possible?
Susan : Oui. Pour les Occidentaux, cela paraît bizarre, mais dans la médecine traditionnelle asiatique, prendre le pouls pour trouver le diagnostique d'un patient est courant.
Susan: Yes. For Western people it seems strange, but in Asian traditional medicine feeling the pulse to diagnose a patient is common.
Jack : C'est très intéressant.
Jack: That is very interesting.
