A man receives a call from his Credit Card Company.

"Monsieur, nous avons détecté des dépenses inhabituelles sur votre carte de crédit, et nous vous appelons pour savoir si tout va bien."

"Sir, we have detected an unusual pattern of spending on your card, and we are calling to see if everything is all right."

"Oui," répliqua l'homme. "Ma carte de crédit a été volée il y a un mois."

"Yes," replied the man. "My card was stolen over a month ago."

"Pourquoi n'avez-vous pas signalé le vol de votre carte ?" demanda le représentant de l'agence.

"Why didn't you report your card as stolen?" asked the card company representative.

L'homme répondit : "Eh bien, quelle que soit la personne qui a volé ma carte, elle dépense bien moins que ma femme !"

The man replied, "Well, whoever stole my card is spending a lot less than my wife!"
