The good wife
Le mari de Susie tombe dans le coma et en sort régulièrement depuis quelques semaines.
Susie's husband has been slipping in and out of a coma for several weeks.
Les choses s'annoncent mal mais elle reste chaque jour à son chevet.
Things look grim, but she is by his bedside every single day.
Un jour, il lui fait signe de s'approcher.
One day he motions for her to come close to him.
"Tu sais," murmure-t-il, les yeux remplis de larmes, "tu es restée près de moi pendant tous ces moments difficiles."
"You know" he whispers, his eyes filling with tears, "you have been with me through all the bad times."
"Quand je me suis fait renvoyer, tu es restée près de moi. Quand mes affaires ont périclité, tu étais là aussi."
"When I got fired, you stuck right beside me. When my business went under, there you were."
"Quand nous avons perdu la maison, tu étais là. Quand j'ai commencé à avoir des problèmes de santé, tu es restée à mes côtés."
"When we lost the house, you were there. When my health started failing, you were still by my side."
"Et tu sais quoi ?"
"And you know what?"
"Quoi, chéri ?" demande-t-elle gentiment.
"What, dear?" she asks gently.
"Je crois que tu portes malheur."
"I think you're bad luck."

"Et tu sais quoi ?"
"And you know what?"
"Quoi, chéri ?" demande-t-elle gentiment.
"What, dear?" she asks gently.
"Je crois que tu portes malheur."
"I think you're bad luck."
