The concert
Eric : Salut, Albert. Comment vas-tu ?
Eric: Hi, Albert. How are you?
Albert : Très bien. Je viens d'aller à un concert avec ma femme.
Albert: Great. I've just been to a concert with my wife.
Eric : Le concert de qui ?
Eric: Whose concert?
Albert : Laura Cantrell. Une chanteuse de country.
Albert: Laura Cantrell. A country singer.
Eric : De country ? Je croyais que tu aimais le heavy metal.
Eric: Country? I thought you like heavy metal?
Albert : Oh, je ne vais plus aux concerts de heavy metal. Ils font un bruit incroyable. Mes oreilles ne supportent plus.
Albert: Oh, I don't go to heavy metal concerts anymore. They are so insanely loud. My ears can't take that anymore.
Eric : Haha, oui, tu as raison. Un jour, je suis allé à un concert de W.A.S.P. et deux jours après, mes oreilles bourdonnaient encore.
Eric: Haha, yes you are right. I was to a W.A.S.P. concert once and two days later my ears were still ringing.
Albert : Exactement. Même problème avec les boîtes de nuit. J'ai encore un acouphène après une visite il y a 15 ans.
Albert: Exactly. Same problem with nightclubs. I still have tinnitus from a visit 15 years ago.
Eric : L'acouphène peut donc devenir permanent ?
Eric: So the tinnitus can become permanent?
Albert : Oui, surtout si on va voir le médecin trop tard comme moi. Normalement, il faut aller chez le médecin si le bourdonnement à l'oreille n'a pas disparu après 3 jours !
Albert: Yes, especially if you go to the doctor too late like me. Normally you should go to the doctor if the ear ringing doesn't disappear after 3 days!
