Claudia: Hey Frank. Have you been travelling recently?
Claudia: Hallo Frank. Bist du in letzter Zeit wieder gereist?
Frank: Yes, I've been to England.
Frank: Ja, ich war in England.
Claudia: Have you been to London?
Claudia: Warst du in London?
Frank: Yes. I've also been to Canterbury.
Frank: Ja. Ich war auch in Canterbury.
Claudia: That's where the famous cathedral is, right?
Claudia: Das ist wo die berühmte Kathedrale ist, nicht wahr?
Frank: Yes, it is very big.
Frank: Genau. Die ist richtig groß.
Claudia: One day I will visit Canterbury too!
Claudia: Eines Tages werde ich Canterbury auch besuchen!
Frank: Great, but don't get scammed like I was. A guy asked me for 10 pence for an "important telephone call". When I gave him the money he went to a shop and bought alcohol with the money. Right in front of my eyes!
Frank: Gut, aber lass dich nicht reinlegen, wie mir das passiert ist. Ein Typ wollte 10 Pence von mir für einen "wichtigen Telefonanruf". Als ich ihm das Geld gab, ging er zu einem Laden und kaufte sich Alkohol mit dem Geld. Genau vor meinen Augen!
Claudia: Haha.. he didn't even bother to cover up his lies.
Claudia: Haha.. der hat sich nicht mal bemüht seine Lügen zu vertuschen.
Frank: Obviously not!
Frank: Offensichtlich nicht!
