The psychology tutor had just finished a lecture and was giving an oral test.

Because she spoke about manic-depressive disorder, she asked the following question:
Da sie über manisch-depressive Erkrankungen sprach, stellte sie die folgende Frage.
"How would you diagnose a patient who runs back and forth screaming at the top of his lungs one minute, then sits in a chair weeping uncontrollably the next?"
"Wie würden Sie einen Patienten diagnostizieren der laut brüllend hin und her rennt, und einen Moment später sich auf einen Stuhl setzt und hemmungslos weint?"
A young man in the rear raised his hand and answered, "A football coach?"
Ein junger Mann in den hinteren Reihen hebt seine Hand und antwortet, "Ein Fußballtrainer?"
