Eine große Entscheidung


A six-year-old boy says to his father, "Daddy, I'd like to get married."

Ein sechsjähriger Junge sagt zu seinem Vater, "Vati, ich möchte heiraten."
His father replies hesitantly, "Who do you want to marry?"

Zögernd antwortet der Vater, "Wen willst du denn heiraten?"
The boy says, "I want to marry Grandma."

Der Junge sagt, "Ich möchte Großmutter heiraten."
"Wait a minute," says his father. "You don't think I'd let you get married with my mother, do you?"

"Moment mal", sagt der Vater, "Du glaubst doch nicht wirklich, dass dir erlaube meine Mutter zu heiraten?"
"Why not?" the boy asks. "You married mine!"

"Warum nicht?", fragt der Junge, "Du hast meine geheiratet!"
