Der Atheist
A young woman came home looking sad.
Eine junge Frau kam nach Hause mit einem traurigen Gesicht.
She told her mother: "Paul proposed to me today."
Sie sagte zu ihrer Mutter: "Paul hat mir einen Heiratsantrag gemacht."
"Then why are you so sad?" her mother asked.
"Und warum bist du dann so traurig?", fragte ihre Mutter.
"Because he also mentioned he was an atheist. Mom, he doesn't believe there's hell!"
"Weil er erwähnt hat, dass er ein Atheist ist. Mutti, er glaubt nicht, dass es eine Hölle gibt!"
Her mother replied, "Marry him anyway! Between the two of us, we'll show him how wrong he is!"
Ihr Mutter antwortete, "Heirate ihn trotzdem! Wir beide zeigen ihn wie falsch er da liegt!"
