Jack en de barkeeper

One night Jack walked into a pub, looking very sad.

Op een avond liep Jack een kroeg binnen, hij zag er erg verdrietig uit.

Bartender: What would you like to drink today?

Barkeeper: Wat wil je drinken?

Jack: Just a bottle of beer.

Jack: Een flesje bier.

Bartender: What's wrong? Why are you so sad today?

Barkeeper: Wat is er aan de hand? Waarom ben je vandaag zo verdrietig?

Jack: My wife and I got into a fight, and she said she wouldn't talk to me for a month.

Jack: Ik heb ruzie gehad met mijn vrouw en ze zei dat ze een maand lang niet meer tegen me zou praten.

Bartender: That's great, isn't it?

Barkeeper: Dat is toch geweldig?

Jack: Yeah! But today is the last day of the month!

Jack: Ja! Maar vandaag is het de laatste dag van de maand!
