The new class
En dag hilste en lærer på sin nye klasse.
One day a teacher was greeting his new class.
Han rejste sig foran klassen og spurgte, om nogen i klassen var en idiot, og hvis de var, så skulle de rejse sig.
He stood up in front of the class and asked if anyone in the class was an idiot, and if they were, they should stand.
Efter et minut rejste en ung mand sig.
After a minute a young man stood up.
Læreren spurgte drengen, om han virkelig mente, at han var en idiot.
The professor then asked the kid if he actually thought he was an idiot.
Drengen svarede: "Nej, jeg ville bare ikke se dig stå der helt alene."
The kid replied: "No, I just didn't want to see you standing there all by yourself."
