Violent computer games
Mand: John sagde, at du ikke vil lade ham spille computerspil?
Husband: John said you won't let him play computer games?
Kone: Det er ikke sandt. Jeg vil bare ikke have, at han spiller de voldelige computerspil.
Wife: That's not true. I just don't want him to play those violent computer games.
Mand: Hvilket spil taler du om?
Husband: What game are you talking about?
Kone: Jeg tror, det hedder "Call of Duty".
Wife: I think it's called "Call of Duty".
Mand: Jeg forstår. Men jeg spillede nu også en del, da jeg var ung.
Husband: I see. Then again I played a lot too when I was young.
Kone: Men spil i dag er meget mere realistiske!
Wife: But games these days are much more realistic!
Mand: Det er rigtigt nok. Men det giver ingen mening at forbyde ham det. Han går bare over til Walter og spiller.
Husband: That's quite true. But there is no point in forbidding him to do that. He only goes to Walter and plays there.
Kone: Hvad skal vi så gøre?
Wife: So what should we do then?
Mand: Jeg siger til ham, at han kun må spille en time om dagen, og kun så længe han får gode karakterer i skolen.
Husband: I'll tell him he can only play one hour per day and only as long as he gets good grades in school.
Kone: God idé!
Wife: Good idea!
