"สวัสดีค่ะ ให้ดิฉันช่วยอะไรดีคะ"
"Good morning sir. How can I help you?"
"สวัสดีครับ ผมอยากเปิดบัญชีที่ธนาคารของคุณ"
"Good morning. I would like to open an account at your bank."
"ได้เลยค่ะ จะเปิดบัญชีแบบไหนดีคะ"
"Very well, sir. What kind of account would you like to open?"
"บัญชีออมทรัพย์ครับ ผมเห็นโฆษณาในหนังสือพิมพ์เกี่ยวกับอัตราดอกเบี้ยพิเศษสำหรับลูกค้าใหม่ ช่วยอธิบายให้ฟังหน่อยได้ไหมครับ"
"I would like to open a savings account. I saw your advertisement in the newspaper concerning special rates for new customers. Could you explain them to me?"
"ได้ค่ะ เราเสนออัตราดอกเบี้ยให้ลูกค้าใหม่ 5% ต่อปี และไม่มีค่าธรรมเนียมในการทำธุรกรรมเกี่ยวกับบัญชีนั้น ๆ ค่ะ"
"Certainly, sir. We offer new customers a 5 percent per year interest rate, and no fees are applied to any of the bank transactions related to the account."
"ครับ ฟังดูดี แล้วผมต้องใช้เอกสารอะไรบ้างในการเปิดบัญชี"
"I see. That sounds like a good deal. And what type of documentation do I need to provide you with in order to open the account?"
"บัตรประจำตัว เช่น พาสปอร์ต หรือใบขับขี่ หลักฐานแสดงที่อยู่ เช่น ใบเสร็จค่าเช่า หรือใบแจ้งหนี้ที่มีที่อยู่ของคุณ แล้วก็กรอกแบบฟอร์มนี้ค่ะ"
"We will need personal identification, such as your passport or driver's license, and proof of residence, such as a rent receipt or a bill addressed to your home. We also ask that you complete this form."
"ครับ ผมจะกลับมาใหม่ตอนบ่ายพร้อมกับแบบฟอร์มและเอกสารอื่น ๆ ขอบคุณมากครับ"
"Very well, I shall come back this afternoon with the form and the documents. Thank you very much for your help."
