"Mummy, Mummy, can I go on the big wheel?"
"แม่ว่าลูกยังเด็กนะจ๊ะ ถ้าลูกขึ้นไปข้างบนแล้วจะกลัวไหม"
"Oh I don't know, darling, you're a little young for that. Don't you think you'll get scared when you're all the way up there?"
"ไม่กลัวครับ"
"I never get scared, Mummy."
"งั้นหรือ แล้วคืนก่อนที่ลูกฝันร้ายล่ะ ลูกบอกว่าลูกกลัวเลยต้องมานอนกับแม่"
"Really? What about the other night, when you had a nightmare? You said that you were scared, and that you had to sleep in my bed."
"ไม่เหมือนกันครับ ผมฝันถึงสัตว์ประหลาดที่โหดร้ายมาก"
"That was different. There were monsters in my nightmare. Very bad monsters."
"ก็ได้ ๆ ถ้าลูกอยากนั่งชิงช้าสวรรค์จริง ๆ ก็ต้องสัญญาว่าจะเป็นเด็กดีทั้งวันเลยนะจ๊ะ"
"I see. Well, if you really want to go on the big wheel, then you have to promise to be a good boy for the rest of the day."
"ครับแม่ ผมสัญญา"
"OK Mummy, I promise."
"ตกลงจ้ะ ไปซื้อตั๋วกันเถอะ อย่าลืมสัญญาด้วยนะ"
"All right then. Let's go buy two tickets. And don't forget your promise."
"ไม่ลืมครับแม่ ผมรักแม่ครับ"
"I won't, Mummy. I love you, Mummy."
"แม่ก็รักลูกจ้ะ"
"I love you too, darling."
"แม่ครับ แม่ครับ ผมอยากนั่งชิงช้าสวรรค์"
