The birthday party

(Tom's parents are having breakfast. Tom enters the kitchen.)

แม่ของต้อม: อรุณสวัสดิ์จ้ะต้อม! เกือบเที่ยงแล้วนะ! เมื่อคืนกลับจากปาร์ตี้กี่โมงลูก?

Tom's mother: Good morning Tom! It's almost midday! When did you get back from the party?

---

ต้อม: ไม่แน่ใจครับ คิดว่าประมาณตี 2 งานปาร์ตี้เยี่ยมไปเลยครับ

Tom: Not sure. I think about 2 a.m. It was a great party.

พ่อของต้อม: ตอนพ่อเป็นเด็กพ่อต้องกลับบ้านก่อนเที่ยงคืน

Tom's father: When I was young I had to be home before midnight.

---

ต้อม: ครับ แต่ตอนนี้อะไร ๆ ก็เปลี่ยนไปนะครับ

Tom: Sure. But things are different now.

พ่อของต้อม: ใช่ พ่อรู้ ลูกสนุกมั้ยล่ะ?

Tom's father: Yes I know. Did you have a good time then?

ต้อม: สนุกสิครับ! งานวันเกิด 16 ปีของจอม เพื่อนของเขาบางคนจับเขาโยนลงไปในสระว่ายน้ำ

Tom: Yes! It was Jom's 16th birthday. Some of his friends threw him into the pool there.

---

แม่ของต้อม: ฮ่าฮ่า ตลกจัง เราก็ทำแบบนั้นเหมือนกันตอนที่เราอายุเท่าลูก!

Tom's mother: Haha, funny. We did that too when we were your age!

ต้อม: แต่จอมคงไม่สนุกด้วยหรอกครับ เขาเก็บโทรศัพท์มือถือไว้ในกระเป๋ากางเกง

Tom: Jom didn't think it was funny. He had his mobile phone in his trouser pocket.

แม่ของต้อม: โอ้ แล้วโทรศัพท์พังรึเปล่าจ๊ะ?

Tom's mother: Oh, was the phone broken?

---

ต้อม: พังครับ เขาโกรธมากเลย!
