Rainer: Hi Simon! Back from Thailand? How was it?

Simon: โอ้ ดีมากเลย ในที่สุดก็ได้พบพ่อแม่ของภรรยาผม

Simon: Oh, it was nice. Finally met my wife's parents.

Rainer: เยี่ยมไปเลย! พวกเขาอยู่ในชนบทใช่ไหม?

Rainer: Brilliant! They live in the countryside, right?

Simon: ใช่ ที่อีสาน - ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือของประเทศไทย

Simon: Yes, in Isan - the northeast of Thailand.

Rainer: ไม่ค่อยมีอะไรให้ทำสิผมว่า?

Rainer: Not much to do there I suppose?

Simon: น่าสนใจนะ เราไปล่ากบกันด้วย

Simon: It was interesting. We went frog hunting.

Rainer: จริงหรือ? เพื่ออะไรล่ะ?

Rainer: Really? What for?

---

Simon: พวกเขากินกบ กบพวกนี้บางตัวก็ใหญ่มากเลยนะ!

Simon: They eat the frogs. Some of these frogs were quite big!

Rainer: โอ้ กบที่น่าสงสาร แล้วคุณกินด้วยไหม?

Rainer: Oh, the poor frogs. Did you eat them too?

---

Simon: ไม่ ผมทำใจกินมันไม่ได้

Simon: No, I couldn't bring myself to eat them.
