ลูกเสือคนหนึ่งมาประชุมสายครึ่งชั่วโมง
A boy scout was half an hour late for a meeting.
เพื่อนของเขาถามว่า "ทำไมมาช้าจัง?"
His friend asked: "Why are you so late?"
"ผมช่วยคนแก่ข้ามถนนอยู่" เขาตอบ
"I was helping an old man cross the street.", he answered.
"เป็นการกระทำที่ดีนี่" เพื่อนเขากล่าว "แต่มาสายครึ่งชั่วโมงเพราะเรื่องนี้เหรอ?"
"That's a nice thing to do," said his friend. "But half an hour late because of that?"
"ปัญหาคือชายคนนั้นไม่อยากไปนะสิ" ลูกเสือตอบ
"Well, the problem was he didn't want to go," he answered.
