The good wife

Susies man hade glidit in och ut ur koma i flera veckor.

Susie's husband had been slipping in and out of a coma for several weeks.

Things looked grim, but she sat by his bedside every single day.

One day he motioned for her to come close to him.

"You know" he whispered and his eyes were filling with tears, "you have been with me through all the hard times."

"When I got fired, you stuck right beside me. When my business went under, there you were."

"When we lost the house, you were there. When my health started failing, you were still by my side."
"Och vet du vad?"

"And you know what?"
"Vadå, älskling?" frågade hon milt.

"What, dear?" she asked gently.
"Jag tror att du ger mig otur."

"I think you give me bad luck."
