A picnic
"Det här är en fin plats. Vi kan sitta här bredvid trädet."
"This is a nice place. We can sit here next to this tree."
"Bra idé. Då kan vi äta i skuggan."
"Good idea. Then we can eat in the shade."
"Ja. Solen är väldigt stark idag, och jag glömde att ta på solskyddskräm."
"Yes. The sun is very strong today, and I forgot to put on sun lotion."
"Det gjorde jag också. Var ställde du potatissalladen?"
"So did I. Where did you put the potato salad?"
"Den är i den bruna plastpåsen. Kan du skicka tallrikarna, tack?"
"It is in that brown plastic bag. Could you pass me the plates, please?"
"Varsågod. Mmm, de där smörgåsarna ser väldigt goda ut. Vad har du lagt i dem?"
"Here you go. Mmm, those sandwiches look really good. What did you put in them?"
"Jag gjorde två med skinka och ost, två med krabba och majonnäs, och två med kyckling och gurka. Tror du att det räcker till oss båda?"
"I made two with ham and cheese, two with crab and mayonnaise, and two with chicken and cucumber. Do you think it will be enough for both of us?"
"Det tror jag, ja. Jag äter aldrig mycket mat till lunch. Föredrar du en flaska vatten, eller en burk Coca-Cola?"
"I think so, yes. I never eat much food at lunch. Would you prefer a bottle of water, or a can of Coca-Cola?"
"Jag tar lite vatten, tack. Låt oss äta nu, vi måste åka tillbaka hem klockan tre." "Varför det?"
"I will have some water, please. Let's eat, we have to go back home at three o'clock." "Why?"
"För att mina föräldrar kommer och hälsar på oss. Jag sa det till dig i morse." "Just det, jag minns det nu. Vad synd att vi inte kan stanna längre."
"Because my parents are coming to visit us. I told you this morning." "Oh yes, I remember now. What a shame we can't stay longer."
