Violent computer games
Maken: John sa att du inte låter honom spela datorspel?
Husband: John said you won't let him play computer games?
Hustrun: Det är inte sant. Jag vill inte att han ska spela de där våldsamma datorspelen, bara.
Wife: That's not true. I just don't want him to play those violent computer games.
Maken: Vilket spel talar du om?
Husband: What game are you talking about?
Hustrun: Jag tror att det kallas "Call of Duty".
Wife: I think it's called "Call of Duty".
Maken: Jag förstår. Fast jag spelade också mycket när jag var ung.
Husband: I see. Then again I played a lot too when I was young.
Hustrun: Men spelen är mycket mer realistiska nuförtiden!
Wife: But games these days are much more realistic!
Maken: Det är sant. Men det är ingen idé att förbjuda honom att göra det. Han går bara till Walter och spelar där.
Husband: That's quite true. But there is no point in forbidding him to do that. He only goes to Walter and plays there.
Hustrun: Vad ska vi göra, då?
Wife: So what should we do then?
Maken: Jag ska säga åt honom att han bara kan spela en timme om dagen, och bara så länge han får bra betyg i skolan.
Husband: I'll tell him he can only play one hour per day and only as long as he gets good grades in school.
Hustrun: Bra idé!
Wife: Good idea!
