Jack: Hej Christian. Hur firade du nyårsafton?
Jake: Hi Christian. How did you celebrate New Year's Eve?
Christian: Vi for till de österrikiska alperna för att åka skidor.
Christian: We went to the mountains in Austria to ski.
Jake: Var det några fyrverkerier?
Jake: Were there any fireworks?
Christian: Nej, det var bara en liten by.
Christian: No, it was just a small village.
Jake: Några nyårslöften?
Jake: Any New Year's resolutions?
Christian: Ja. Jag vill spendera mindre pengar och gå ner i vikt lite. Själv då?
Christian: Yes. I want to spend less money and lose some weight. And you?
Jake: Nej, inte i år.
Jake: No, not this year.
Christian: De håller ändå inte.
Christian: They don't work out anyway.
Jake: Precis.
Jake: Exactly.
