Jackie besöker sina föräldrar.
Jackie visits her parents.
Jackie: Hej mamma! Hur är det?
Jackie: Hi Mom! How are you?
Jackies mamma: Bara bra, bortsett från värken i ryggen.
Jackie's mother: I'm OK. Apart from the back pains.
Jackie: Hur är det med pappa? Trivs han som pensionär?
Jackie: How is Dad? Enjoying his retirement?
Jackies mamma: Det är bra med honom. Sedan han upptäckte att det finns många matlagningsvideor på YouTube har han provat olika recept hela tiden.
Jackie's mother: He's fine. Since he's found out that there are many cooking videos on YouTube he's been trying out recipes all the time.
Jackie: Det låter toppen, tycker jag!
Jackie: I think it's great!
Jackies mamma: Tja ... Det beror på. Ibland är hans rätter knappt ätliga!
Jackie's mother: Well... depends. Sometimes his dishes are hardly edible!
Jackie: Haha. Är han i köket nu?
Jackie: Haha. Is he in the kitchen now?
Jackies mamma: Ja.
Jackie's mother: Yes.
Jackie går in i köket.
Jackie goes into the kitchen.
Jackie: Hej pappa!
Jackie: Hi Dad!
Jackies pappa: Hej älskling!
Jackie's father: Hi darling!
Jackie: Vad lagar du?
Jackie: What are you cooking?
Jackies pappa: En italiensk rätt som kallas "calzone".
Jackie's dad: An Italian dish called "Calzone".
Jackie: Vad är det?
Jackie: What is that?
Jackies pappa: I grund och botten en hopvikt pizza.
Jackie's father: Basically a folded pizza.
Jackie: Jaha.
Jackie: I see.
Jackies pappa: Vill du vara snäll och duka bordet?
Jackie's father: Can you set the table please?
Jackie dukar bordet och äter sedan tillsammans med sina föräldrar.
Jackie sets the table and afterwards eats together with her parents.
