The new scam

David: Jag var med om något ganska lustigt nyss.
David: So funny what just happened to me.
Dan: Vad hände?
Dan: What happened?
David: Jo, jag gick in på Gumtree.com för att leta lägenhet. Det fanns en riktigt billig lägenhet med mycket centralt läge, så jag mejlade killen och frågade om lägenheten fortfarande var ledig.
David: Well, I went to Gumtree.com to look for a flat. There was a really cheap flat in a very central location available. So I emailed the guy and asked if the flat is still available.
Dan: Jag slår vad om att det var en bluff.
Dan: I bet it was a scam.
David: Ja, precis. Han berättade att han bor utomlands och måste köpa en flygbiljett för att kunna visa mig lägenheten. Han sa att han har kastat bort tid på tidigare potentiella hyresgäster och därför behöver en deposition i förskott innan han visar mig lägenheten.
David: Yes exactly. He told me that he lives abroad and needs to buy a plane ticket to show me the flat. He said he had wasted time with previous potential tenants and therefore needs a deposit up front before showing me the flat.
Dan: Visst! Och han ville ha depositionen via "Western Union", eller hur?
Dan: Yeah right! And he wanted that deposit through "Western Union" right?
David: Japp! Det är omöjligt att få tillbaka pengarna om man betalar via "Western Union".
David: Yep! There's no way to get the money back if you pay through "Western Union".
Dan: Jag undrar om folk verkligen blir lurade av den här bluffen.
Dan: I wonder if people really fall for this scam.
