Ordering food in a restaurant
Jack y Susan va a un restaurante tailandés.
Jack and Susan go to a Thai restaurant.
Camarera: "¡Buen día!"
Waitress: Good day!
Jack: "Una mesa para dos, por favor."
Jack: A table for 2 please.
Jack y Susan siguen a la camarera y a continuación, se sientan a la mesa.
Jack and Susan follow the waitress and then sit down at their table.
Jack: "Creo que tomaré Pad Thai, y tú ¿qué vas a pedir?"
Jack: I think I'll take Pad Thai, and what will you order?
Susan: "Tomaré curry verde."
Susan: I'll take Green curry.
Jack: "¡Siempre pides lo mismo!"
Jack: You always order the same!
Susan: "¡Es lo único que me gusta!"
Susan: It's the only thing I like!
Jack: "Perdone, ¿podemos pedir, por favor?"
Jack: Excuse me, could we order please?
Camarera: "Un momento, por favor."
Waitress: One moment, please!
La camarera se acerca a la mesa.
The waitress approaches the table.
Camarera: "¿Sí?"
Waitress: Yes please?
Jack: "Tomaré Pad Thai y mi mujer, curry verde. ¿Es picante el Pad Thai?"
Jack: I'll have Pad Thai and my wife Green curry. Is the Pad Thai spicy?
Camarera: No, para nada. ¿Le gustaría el arroz con curry?"
Waitress: No, not at all. Would you like rice with the curry?
Susan: "¡Sí, por favor!"
Susan: Yes, please!
Camarera: "De acuerdo, ¿algo más?"
Waitress: Okay. Anything else?
Susan: Sí, por favor, tráiganos una jarra de agua del grifo.
Susan: Yes, please bring us a jug of tap water.
Camarera: "Sí, ¡por supuesto!"
Waitress: Yes of course!
