Se escuchó un golpe en la puerta, cuando la abrió su casero estaba de pie tras la puerta.

There was a knock on the door, when he opened it his landlord was standing outside the door.

Preguntó: "¿Sabes que hay una mujer enferma arriba?"

He asked: "Do you know there is a sick lady upstairs?"

Jack respondió: "No, no he escuchado esa canción. ¿Puedes tararearla un poco?"

Jack answered: "No, I haven't heard that song. Can you please hum it a little?"
