Nina: Hello Peter! I'm okay, thank you! What about you? Haven't seen you lately. Is everything all right?

Peter: Bueno, ahora todo está bien, pero el mes pasado me operé y después tuve que estar en casa durante un par de semanas.

Peter: Well, it is all right now, but I had surgery last month and had to stay home for a couple of weeks after that.

Nina: Oh, ¿qué te pasó?

Nina: Oh, what happened?

Peter: Tuve apendicitis.

Peter: I had appendicitis.

Nina: ¿Te dolió?

Nina: Were you in pain?

---

Peter: Sí, en la vida había sentido un dolor tan intenso.

Peter: Yes, I've never had such intense pain in my life.

Nina: Pensaba que la apendicitis aparecía en gente más joven.

Nina: I thought appendicitis happens to younger people.

---

Peter: Tienes razón, no es muy frecuente que aparezca a mi edad.

Peter: You are right, it does not happen often at my age.
