The good wife
El marido de Susie había estado luchando contra un coma durante varias semanas.
Susie's husband had been slipping in and out of a coma for several weeks.
Las cosas pintaban mal, pero ella estuvo todos los días junto a su cama.
Things looked grim, but she was by his bedside every single day.
Un día se movió cuando ella se le acercó.
One day he motioned for her to come close to him.
"Sabes" susurró, tenía los ojos llenos de lágrimas, "has estado conmigo en todos los malos momentos."
"You know" he whispered, his eyes filling with tears, "you have been with me through all the bad times."
"Cuando me despidieron, estuviste junto a mí. Cuando mi empresa quebró, tú estabas ahí."
"When I got fired, you stuck right beside me. When my business went under, there you were."
"Cuando perdimos la casa, tú estabas ahí. Cuando mi salud empezó a deteriorarse, seguías junto a mí."
"When we lost the house, you were there. When my health started failing, you continued by my side."
"Y ¿sabes qué?"
"And you know what?"
"¿Qué, cariño?" le preguntó con dulzura.
"What, dear?" she asked gently.
"Creo que traes mala suerte."
"I think you're bad luck."

"I think you're bad luck."
